BUILD-A-RESCUE EVENTS
The Barker Shop and Animal Care League are building a Rescue inside The Barker Shop. We are hoping to raise enough money to complete the buildouts. We have lots of fundraising activities planned. Hopefully you can participate in one or all of the events.
Founding Member - Donate $1000 or more to help us finish the buildouts and you will receive the Opening first month of doggie daycare for free and you will receive a portrait and groom of your favorite pet or group of pets. The portrait will also be included in a Founding Member display in our new facility.
Sponsoring Member – Donate $500 or more to help us finish the buildouts and you will receive the Opening two weeks of Doggie Daycare for Free. You will also receive a portrait of your favorite pet or group of pets. The portrait will be included in a Sponsoring Member display in our new facility.
Raffle Tickets - Barker Shop Groomers have each donated one of their talents to help Build the Rescue. Your Prize could be a Free Groom, a painting or photograph of your pet, daycare or boarding. Raffle Tickets are 3 for $5, 7 for $10 or 15 for $20. Drawing will be held on Opening Day of the new facility.
Pet Art, Massage, NekBonz, T-Shirts and More - Various Pet Build A Rescue related products and services will be available at The Barker Shop and Animal Care League during August and Sept for a donation. Event dates where an individual will donate their talent (i.e. Paints, Cariacatures, Ilustration, Pet Massage) will be announced and kept current on the Build A Rescue Facebook page. Nekbonz and t-shirts will be available at both locations.

Oberweis Ice Cream Western Springs Up to 30% Saturday October 15th
Sunday October 30th 12 pm - 4 pm Halloween Open House at The Barker Shop to Welcome Animal Care League!
