Pardon our Dust, We're Expanding to Save More Lives!
December 2021, Animal Care League broke ground on a major expansion and renovation project. Our outdated facility, the opportunity to acquire the abandoned building next to our shelter, and a very big vision pushed us to commit to building a 19,000 SQ FT Pet Resource Campus-and well, the rest is history! Thanks to a group of incredible Capital Campaign leadership donors, Animal Care League was able to complete the first phase of a two part construction project.
Phase 2 will begin January 3rd, 2023 and will focus on the buildings in which we currently operate. This means it is time for us to say “Pardon our Dust” because we will be working to remain operable during construction. During construction, we will still be available to our animal control partners, for lost/found pet services, and of course will continue to find loving homes for animals in need! Beginning in January, adopters will meet their new best friend inside our completed Adoption Center-entrance at 1009 Garfield (one door to the East). Please note that we may need to adjust our hours and/or availability of services in different ways throughout the year while we navigate construction. If you have any questions, please call us, message or email or see our FAQ sheet for up to date information.
