In-Kind Donations

We are under construction! Due to our ongoing expansion and renovation, we are temporarily limiting the number of and types of in-kind donations we will accept. As the project continues our needs and ability to accept donations may change, so please check this page for current information before bringing donations to the shelter.

Accepted donations can be dropped off at the shelter at 1011 Garfield St in Oak Park any day between 10am and 6pm.

Please note we cannot accept donations intended for the 2nd Chance Shop at 808 Harrison St. Shop donations should be taken there directly. See the shop's hours.

Peanut Butter, cream cheese, and hot dogs
We cannot accept peanut butter with Xylitol or hydrogenated oils.

Super chewer dog toys
Such as Kong, Nylabone, BarkBox

Dry dog and cat food
Must be unopened

Wet dog and cat food
Must be unopened

Dog treats
Must be unopened

Latex gloves
Sizes Medium and Large

Large towels
No hand towels, please

Blankets
No comforters, please
