Why is #GivingTuesday so important to ACL?
ACL's biggest fundraising day of the year is an even bigger deal this year. With cancelled events and COVID affecting our usual fundraising efforts, ACL is counting on GivingTuesday this year more than ever. With the support of our community, we will be working to raise $50,000 in one day—but there's more!
Thanks to the generosity of ACL Board Member Chatka Ruggiero, every donation made this #GivingTuesday will be matched dollar for dollar. So $50,000 will become $100,000 for the animals.
On December 1st, 2020 we will ask our online networks, adopters, volunteers, staff and the public to get involved. We will disperse a street team wearing special #GivingTuesday scan-to-donate stickers, we will have volunteers conducting an in-shelter telethon, and we will ask thousands to click the "DONATE" button online. We will work to ensure that this day gives back to hundreds of animals in need as we move into 2021!
