PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Pets are proven to reduce stress and anxiety, provide companionship, encourage daily exercise and give a sense of purpose to those caring for them making the human/animal bond more important than ever during these challenging times. This program’s mission will be to ensure that pets and people can stay together and that financial hardship or lack of access to food or resources will not be the determining factor in people needing to make a decision to re-home their beloved pets.
Pet food and supply packages are available by request to those in need. Packages will include food and supplies for both pet and person! In addition to the care packages, Animal Care League will work with people in need of other support services (veterinary care, pet fees, grooming, training services, etc.) and offer subsidized or free service as funds are available.
