Adoption Eligibility
 

Adopters are required to be 21 years of age or older
 

All individuals who will reside with the animal are required to meet the animal before the adoption can be finalized.  Different members of the family may come at different times, however everyone who will be living with the animal must meet the animal prior to finalizing any adoption.
 

The decision of whether or not to send an animal home is the sole discretion of Animal Care League. 
 

Please be aware that rental agreements and condo leases might have restrictions on the amount, weight, and breed of animals allowed in the home.  If you are unsure if an animal is allowed, check with the building owner or management.​​​​​​​​​​

Adoption Includes

​

  • spay/neuter

  • age appropriate vaccinations

  • microchip with registration

  • sample bag of food

  • free exam at VCA hospital

  • $250 safety net allowance for qualifying minor post adoption medical 

  • 1 week of GoodPup training and 10% off GoodPup membership

  • ​ACL lifetime commitment (if something happens to you or you can no longer care for your pet),

Adoption Fees

​

Kittens (6 months and under) - $200, pairs $350

Adult Cats (7 months+) - $150, pairs $250

Adult Cats over 7 years - $100, required pairs $150

Puppies (up to 8 months old) - $400 (includes refundable $100 training deposit)

Adult Dogs (9 months+ over 40lbs) - $225, required pairs $350

Adult Dogs (9 months+ under 40lbs) - $300, required pairs $500

Rabbits $200, required pairs $300

Guinea Pigs/Birds $100, required/bonded pairs $125

Hamsters $50
