Volunteers do more than give their free time to lend a hand, they make a difference in the lives of over 1300 animals that come through our doors each year.

To start the sign-up process (18+), pick an orientation date on the calendar below.

Volunteer Opportunities

Adoption Center Greeters, Intake Services Volunteers, Adoption Counselors, Administrative Tasks

Requirements:

18 years of age or older
Be able to complete their own application.
Be able to work independently.
Commit a minimum of 15 hours per quarter.
Purchase a volunteer t-shirt ($10). Please let us know if you need a shirt to be provided!

Junior Volunteer Form

Junior Volunteers (ages 15-17) help with important work at the shelter, including cleaning, making enrichment toys, laundry, dishes, and more. It's a fun experience, and a great way to learn about everything going on at the shelter!

Just have a parent or guardian fill out the JV waiver, then sign up for a JV orientation session to get started.
