Hang out with Dogs!
While our dogs are walked each day and well cared for, they spend the majority of their time alone in their kennels. By signing up to hang out with a shelter dog, you can help us make their days happier and more fulfilling!
Our Real Life Room is set up to feel like a living room, giving dogs the chance to spend quality time with humans, just like they would in a forever home. You'll enjoy high speed internet, a workspace, tv, couch, books and more. This room is private and set up for you to work or relax with some canine company.
Time slots are 90 minutes long, and can include up to two people. Guests must be 21 years of age or older. Beginning February 22nd, Real Life Room visits will cost $10 per person, with all money raised going directly back to animals in need. All previously scheduled appointments will still be honored!​
About the Dogs
The majority of our dogs weigh over 50lbs. You can request a specific dog, however, the final decision will be made by shelter staff based on what is in the best interest of the dog and human.
