Hang out with Dogs!
Ages 21+
While our dogs are walked each day and well cared for, they spend the majority of their time alone in their kennels. By signing up to hang out with a shelter dog, you can help us make their days happier and more fulfilling!
Our Real Life Room is set up to feel like a living room, giving dogs the chance to spend quality time with humans, just like they would in a forever home. You'll enjoy high speed internet, a workspace, tv, couch, books and more. This room is private and set up for you to work or relax with some canine company.
The $10 fee to book the real life room goes right back to the room and the dogs who hang out there, making sure it stays clean, stocked, and staffed!

About the Dogs
The majority of our dogs weigh over 50lbs. You can request a specific dog, however, the final decision will be made by shelter staff based on what is in the best interest of the dog and human.

Rescheduling
Your appointment fee is completely transferrable to any other open time slot, as long as you reschedule 24+ hours before your start time.

Late Policy
Please aim to arrive at the shelter 5 minutes before your start time. We may not be able to hold your spot if you arrive more than 5 minutes after your appointment begins.​
