Meet Fenrir!
This big, handsome guy came to Animal Care League as a stray in April. He was friendly right away, and throughout his intake exam, he just wanted pets and treats. But as time passed, it was clear the shelter was overwhelming to him, and when there were other dogs around, Fenrir showed reactivity.
Over the course of the next few months, Fenrir continued to struggle, until a wonderful opportunity arose thanks to a generous donor—the chance to board and train at Chicago Paws District!

Fenrir has already made so much progress during his training adventure, learning skills for better regulating himself and responding to his handler. But his stay will be over on September 21st!

Fenrir
Age: 3
Weight: 100lbs
Likes: Head pets, tennis balls, places where there are no cats

Fenrir deserves an amazing life, which is why we want to do everything we can to find him his people while his stay with Chicago Paws District is still fresh in his mind—and ideally before he even has to come back to the shelter.
