About Superstar Pup Academy
For dogs living at the shelter, stress buildup can lead to a wide variety of behavioral issues. As these issues start to negatively affect adoptability, it becomes a cycle—more time in the shelter, more stress, more time in the shelter. In 2025, we set out to combat this problem head-on.

Superstar Pup Academy is a training program that gives shelter dogs consistent, one-on-one training to address their individual challenges. Led by a team of trainers with diverse experience, the program aims to set dogs up for success not only on the adoption floor, but for the rest of their lives.
A Brighter Future
We have watched Superstar Pup Academy grow from an idea into a program that achieves real outcomes. The initiative is still young, but with multiple adoptions and marked behavior improvements in our students, its affect is already clear. As the program grows, we look forward to helping more dogs overcome the challenges they encounter at the shelter.
