Animal Welfare Services for Oak Park
Animal Care League is the animal shelter for Oak Park, housing all stray animals found in the village.
We offer adoptions, low-cost vet services, educational classes, a pet food pantry and other resources, volunteer and foster opportunities, and more. Use the buttons below to learn more about the services we provide.
A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by community donations and volunteers, Animal Care League is committed to providing shelter, medical care, and comfort to animals in need. We find new homes for homeless animals through our adoption program, provide low-cost clinic services, and offer other community resources, including free classes for students and a pet food pantry.
Animal Care League holds stray animals for Oak Park, Forest Park, River Forest, Melrose Park, Elmwood Park, Riverside, North Riverside, Northlake, and River Grove.
